Stuttgart 21 Schalendach Bahnhofshalle Unterstützung Kelchstütze

The Stuttgart 21 railway project is a railway project that has been ongoing in Germany since 1990. The project involves the reconstruction of railway lines in the Stuttgart region and the main train station in Stuttgart.

The main train station has a reinforced concrete roof designed with a distinctive architecture. It features cup-shaped columns with a special geometry in a 3-axis configuration. Special formwork and scaffolding systems were required for the construction of these reinforced concrete columns and roof slabs. Züblin AG undertook the construction of the project. Our office collaborated with Robusta-Gaukel GmbH & Co. KG for the design and production of the special formwork, taking on the responsibility for the structural projects of these unique formwork and scaffolding systems.
